What are Mala Prayer Beads?

MALA (Sanskrit for garland) PRAYER BEADS are used for keeping count while reciting, chanting, or mentally repeating a mantra. Traditionally, the mala is made up of 108 beads. The use of the mala prayer beads brings peace and contentment. The beads hold the intention you make with your prayers and mantras. As your mala collects spiritual merit, you’ll find that simply holding it and rubbing it in your hands will bring you peace.
